The three things that guide everything I do—both in and out of the pool.
I’m Hunter Armstrong—a two-time Olympian, gold medalist, and world champion backstroke swimmer. But more than that, I’m a guy from Dover, Ohio, who’s been blessed with opportunities I never imagined growing up.
Swimming has taken me around the world, introduced me to incredible people, and taught me what it means to stay disciplined, humble, and driven. But it’s also shown me how much I need something bigger than sport.

2 gold, 1 silver
In 2024, everything changed. I was in a low place. Halfway across the globe and feeling more alone than I ever had. But God showed up. Through a teammate’s invitation to Bible study and my brother’s encouragement back home, I felt called to deepen my faith.
On February 9, 2025—exactly one year after that moment in Doha—I was baptized at Rock City Church in Ohio. That day wasn’t a coincidence. It was a turning point. I made the decision as an adult to give my life to Christ.
“I look back at the man I used to be and I can hardly recognize him. I wanted to be baptized as the new man God made me to be.”
Today, my relationship with Jesus is the foundation of who I am—as an athlete, brother, son, and man. I share that part of my story openly, because it’s not just about gold medals. It’s about purpose.

When I’m not training or competing, you’ll usually find me hanging with my two best buddies—my dogs 🐾. Whether we’re hiking, exploring new trails, or just relaxing on the couch, they’re a big part of what keeps me grounded and balanced.
And here’s something you might not expect: I’m also into magic.
Yep, real sleight-of-hand card tricks and illusions. There’s something about the timing, focus, and performance that reminds me of racing—except this time, the goal is to leave you speechless instead of breathless.
Whether you’re interested in private lessons, clinics, speaking opportunities, or just learning more—I’d love to hear from you.
Show up. Stay grounded. Do the work.
